The only way to achieve this is by dieting and exercising daily. You can have the most toned and muscular abs, but it will not show if there is a layer of fat over them. This article will discuss ways in which you can accomplish both of these goals.

This means that you need to lose body-fat once you have started the daily routine of exercise and lifting weights. Doing these movements will increase your general core strength and as a result you will be able to hold more muscle on your body. Holding more muscle will speed up your metabolism and burn more calories.

It is all about the eating habits that you have because if you want to keep your abs showing once you have them then you need to get into the habit of eating at least five small meals a day. You need to teach yourself how to count calories as this will stop the fried foods and junk foods that you might be tempted to eat during your day.

You need to plan your workouts ahead and this means separating your work-outs into weight training, cardio and abs. Getting effective results is all about intensity and this means training hard and short and science has now proven that training more than 45 minutes should be avoided.

There is no way to target fat-loss in any area of your body and this means that you may need to lose some extra fat that is hiding your abs. Even if you work out and get gigantic ab muscles, if there is still a layer of fat over them no one will ever get to see them. Cardio workouts are workouts that raise your heart rate for a given set of time. Some examples would be running, jogging, bike riding, dancing and rowing.
